Providing Humanitarian Aid to Third World Countries

Our Founder/CEO's Dream

Our Ministry, DOHM is based on the belief that with your help we CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!! Our Founder/CEO of DOHM, Nana Akua Makafui, has had this vision of helping Africa ever since childhood, now it has become a reality starting with Ghana, West Africa. Taking one step at a time to make a diffence. Our Vision will show the intentions of DOHM. We aim to be able to do all of the below mentioned, one thing at a time, but without your help it makes it nearly impossible to do!

Our Vision

DOHM Providing Humanitaring Aid to 3rd world countries, started with Ghana, West Africa. and have expanded to Nigeria, Togo, and now Uganda, East Africa. DOHM is also in Dominica and now venturing into Jamaica, Antigua, Honduras and Philippines

Our current mission is to reach out to those in a very tangible way through donations of medical supplies/equipment, clothing, books, etc. to meet their immediate needs.

Our next goal is to establish means whereby the people of the communities, regions and eventually at national levels will be able to sustain their own needs. To do this our Director/Founder Nana Akua Makafui, has been visiting Ghana March 2013, April 2014, Oct 2014 to assess for local resources and partner with local authorities in identifying their areas of need. She will continue to travel back and forth to project plan, make proposals and to continue in the effort to provide and empower the less fortunate. She is also in contact with Ministers of Health (MOH), Director of Care (DOC) for health care needs and making the changes to more modern technology. In communication with Ministers of Education (MOE) and with School Head Masters to develop and to project plan for Quality Education! She believes to Alleviate poverty we need to empower the people in each community with proper health care which means proper and timely diagnosis, preventative measures, and treatment goes hand in hand with proper education, literacy, and knowledge! When a man is hungry u don't just give the man a fish, u teach him how to fish so he may then become self sufficient and teach others! Together we can make a difference!!
